Good afternoon,
-- The Langdon Park Community Association is hosting a beautification morning this Saturday August 15. We will meet at 10am outside my home, located at: 2504 Lafayette Ave NE. Fresh juice and donuts will be served. We will fan out around the southern part of Langdon to collect litter until noon. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be provided.
At noon, two lucky neighbors will receive a gift certificate to Zeke's coffee, located at 2300 Rhode Island Avenue.
For those of you who haven't received a Langdon t-shirt yet we still have a small supply in stock and can give some out to those who haven't gotten one.
Please RSVP to myself or Rhys Gerholdt: rhys006@gmail.com, so we know how much juice and donuts to purchase, and how many gloves and bags to provide.
If you are not able to attend, you can consider contributing by donating hefty duty trash bags and gloves (you can simply drop off on our front porch), or provide a small financial donation to offset the cost of the materials, juice and donuts.
I hope to see you this Saturday morning! Please spread the word, and bring other neighbors, friends, and family for fun and fellowship.
