[WardFive] CM McDuffie to open his offices tomorrow for residents attending the March for Our Lives

Wanted to share some information and resources for those attending the March for Our Lives and/or Rally for D.C. Lives tomorrow.

The Rally for D.C. Lives will take place at 9am at Folger Park at 3rd and D Streets, SE. The speakers at the rally will largely be students from DC. They will be joined by elected officials, including Councilmember McDuffie, and dignitaries from DC as well as Moms Demand Action DC, who are helping plan and execute the rally. After the speaking program, everyone is invited to walk over to the national March.

If you're attending the March for Our Lives, make sure to stop by the Wilson Building, where Councilmember McDuffie is opening his offices as a place for people to warm up, use the restroom, or just take a break. The John A. Wilson Building is located at 1350 Pennsylvania Ave NW, but you will need to enter via the door on D Street NW and you are welcome to come up to suite 506 for a break or a (light) snack. The office will be open from 11am – 4pm. (View and print the flyer here, or help spread the word on facebook or twitter)

The national March for Our Lives itself will take place at noon at 3rd and Pennsylvania Ave NW, however there will be significant security around that area and you will only be able to access the march site via Pennsylvania Ave & 12th Street NW; Constitution Ave & 7th Street NW; and Indiana Ave & 7th Street NW.
