Please see below for road closures this weekend on Queens Chapel Road NE, between 22nd and Bladensburg Road (essentially, the overpass over the railroad tracks:

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close southbound Queens Chapel Road NE between 22nd Street NE and Bladensburg Road NE beginning Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 7 am until 5am on Monday, March 19, 2018, weather permitting.

This is to facilitate continued roadwork improvements along Queens Chapel Road NE.

Detours and other traffic controls will be posted to assist vehicular traffic around the roadway closure. Motorists should anticipate moderate delays and are advised to use caution as they navigate through this area.

Temporary Road Closure on Southbound Queens Chapel Road, March 17-19

(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close southbound Queens Chapel Road NE between 22nd Street NE and Bladensburg Road NE beginning Saturday, March 17, 2018, through Monday, March 19, 2018, from 7 am to 5 am, weather permitting.
