Hi Cheat Original,
-- Wednesday night, huh. How awesome was that?! Everyone paddled so well, pushed themselves, took huge waves to the head, and faced some serious fears. This should prepare us well for this weekend on the Cheat.
The level is predicted to be 4.39 on Saturday. It is higher than our first week but the character of the river will be much the same. Some of the smaller holes will be washed out and rocks padded. There will be big waves and big holes to avoid. The sneaks at Big Nasty, Maze, Coliseum should be open. You guys can bring your creek boats if you are more comfortable. But Green Boats are made for this kind of day!
Please meet at 7 am at the Park and Ride or 10:30 am at the put-in. To relieve some of the traffic on the take out road we will wait til Cheat Elite gets up to head down.
You guys should be talking about team names for the Cheat Race. I would love to see a LAKS Badass Butterflies, LAKS Sea Cucumber, LAKS Cheat-ah team racing- or what ever else your creative minds come up with.
