[WardFive] NOYES: Yesterday's Mother & Daughter Tea

Dear 5B04 Community -

 

Yesterday, I participated in Noyes Educational Campus' 2nd Annual Mother & Daughter Tea.  The poetry, dance and skit performances by Noyes students was outstanding.  The young ladies and their mothers looked lovely and enjoyed intimate celebration and light fare. 

 

I wish to convey special , special KUDOS for a superb job by the Noyes Parent and Community Committee (Mses. Asaki, Keeling, Ray, Pierson, Browder, J. Jones), the Noyes teachers (Mr. Bellamy, Mses. Berry-Young, Henderson, Jackson, Beckley, Cameron, Wilson-Jones, Ratchford) and Noyes' Principal Cox.

 

THANK YOU appreciation also to guest speaker (and stalwart Noyes advocate) 5D Officer Miles Davis who, along with myself as 5B04 commissioner, provided perspective and insight to the Noyes mothers and their daughters.  My commissioner message is attached.

 

It was a truly lovely occasion at this 5B04 DCPS school!  We look forward to next year.
