Good Morning 5B02 Community,
On this day of service, it is with great disappointment that I notify you that the CVS on 12th and Newton had been robbed of it's ATM machine at approximately 4:00 am this morning. At 7:54 am I was contacted by a colleague that the CVS on 3601 12th Street, NE, WDC had police activity and debris on it's premises. I arrived at 8:02 am to see the employees cleaning and preparing the store for customers.
Upon my arrival I was greeted by Mr. William West, District Manager of CVS, who was definitely committed to ensuring that ALL customer s would be able to receive prescriptions and all other necessary items from the store. The store should be fully operational by 12 noon today. Yes! today.
This is a police investigation. I will definitely keep you informed as I become aware of any new developments. BE REMINDED TO NEVER CROSS THE YELLOW POLICE LINE. Please continue to enjoy this Day of Service.
