cheat_training_group Strokes Video

Hi Cheat Trainers,

The links to all of your videos are up on our webpage.  Click on your name to view.  Tom (and Andrew for Elite) put some comments below.  Please do let us know if you have any questions or want more specific feedback.

As Jen mentioned, registration is up for the Cheat Race on Friday May 2.  http://www.cheat.org/our-work/cheat-river-festival/cheat-river-massacre-ence-annual-downriver-race/  Early registration is $25.  You can get a time both as an individual and as part of a team.  For teams, you can find a group of 3+ racers who are around your speed and enter as a team.  You don't have to stick together, the top 3 times will be added together for your team time.  People often choose names with a variation on LAKS (Laks a boof, Laks speed, Mac's LAKS are some examples from last year).  Obviously we encourage this kind of thing :)

The Cheat is a bit below 3 feet right now and the weather is predicted to be in the high 60s on Saturday.  It's going to be a very different river!  We will stick to the same schedule as last week- meeting at the Park & Ride at 6:45, at the put-in at 10:30 am.

Lastly, Pablo posted an article on the LAKS Facebook page with some good reasons to use longboats and explore old school technique.  It is really relevant to the work we have been doing during Cheat Training.  Take a look: http://www.whitewaterdreams.com/archives/5540

See you all tonight!
