cheat_training_group Re: Cheat After Party Potluck

I have paper plates, a ton of plastic cups and some plasticwar I will bring,

Randy and Chessa are offering their place for a post-Cheat pot-luck on the evening of Friday May 9th, from 6:30 until whenever.   They live at 5024 Newport Ave, Bethesda, MD, 20816, off Massachusetts Ave, near Mass and Western. Their house is a 15 minute walk from Friendship Heights and even closer to buses on both Mass Ave and Western   The driveway and immediate neighborhood might accommodate 10-12 cars, or so.  Folks who find parking scarce can likely park at or behind Westbrook elementary school, about a 5 minute walk from 5024 Newport.  To find the school, take Baltimore off Massachusetts (a right turn to the Northeast as you are headed outbound on Mass Ave), follow the street to Glen Cove (the second stop sign at the bottom of the second downhill), then turn left on Glen Cove and then left again until you are headed uphill on Allen Terrace.  Park as soon as you find a parking space, or, go right at the main entrance to the school and park in the lot behind the School.  5024 Newport Ave is one block south of Baltimore, near Baltimore and Glen Cove.  
Please write in comments on the evite what you are able to bring for the potluck.
Randy and Chessa plan to have a gas grill and a charcoal grill going.  They have chairs for 20 or so and other seating from about another 10.  They will supply ice and coolers, serving utensils and some tables.   Reach Randy on his cell, 240 271 8430, with questions on directions.

Thanks for a really fun weekend and successful Cheat Training.  51 of the 122 racers that crossed the finish line were LAKS students or instructors this season! I think that is pretty good!  Jen Sass sent the link below with some really great pictures from Decision.
