| | | | Dear friends – This week is one of my favorite times of the year! In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, people all across the country are going to thank teachers for everything they do each and every day to help our students grow and thrive. In DC, we are stepping it up. You know how much I love our teachers. I want to make sure we're doing as much as we can to say and show our thanks this week. If you go on the DCPS website, you can download and print a sign that "shows love" for our teachers. Take a picture with the sign and post it to Twitter and Facebook and thank a teacher for all their hard work with our DCPS students. Make sure you use #DCPSlove so everyone can see how much love we have across the city for our teachers. You can also use the hashtag on its own and shout out a teacher that deserves praise. Let's make this a trending topic all week long! You can download a sign here. With gratitude, Chancellor Henderson | | |
