Washington, DC – EYA, in partnership with The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 Chancellor's Row College Scholarship Fund.
The fund, established as part of the St. Paul's College redevelopment now known as Chancellor's Row, provides scholarship monies to Ward 5 High School Seniors. Five recipients were selected for award:
Terry Talford - Dunbar Senior High School
Courtney Thomas, Jr. - Benjamin Banneker Academic High School
Elisha S. Williams - Benjamin Banneker Academic High School
Cole Randolph - Woodrow Wilson High School
Harper Randolph - Woodrow Wilson High School
Additionally, EYA and The Community Foundation are in the process of contacting past winners to renew their awards for 2014. EYA believes strongly in giving back to the communities where they build and this scholarship will make a direct and positive impact on young people and their families living in Ward 5. They would like to congratulate the recipients and wish them good luck as they begin college this fall.
