Hey all,

Potomac Whitewater is scheduling some Yoga classes for Paddlers taught by Nancy Templeton.  Please see info below.

Also, Ashley Nee has added 2 Tuesday night sessions, 10/21 & 10/28, 5:30- 7 pm on the Feeder as part of Slalom Club.  These sessions are only $30 and a good way to enjoy the last evening sun before daylight savings begins.  We have a limited number of slalom boats that we can lend if you want to give one a try!  Register here: http://liquidadventureskayakschool.org/resources/calendar/?month=oct&yr=2014

Dana Chladek and I have put together a 6 week Yoga for Paddler fundraiser for PWRC.  We’ve arranged the times so it will be easy to sneak in a paddle with friends before/after yoga.

Key details:

·         Fundraiser for PWRC – 6 weeks of yoga classes

·         All classes are 1-1/2 hours – in the Social Hall at the church in Brookmont

·         First class free, $20 per class drop in, 4 class for $60 punch card

·         Yoga for Kayakers – come stretch out those tight muscles (shoulders, hips, hamstrings, chest)

·         No experience required – good workout for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners

·         Bring mat, strap, block, towel if you have them (6 sets are available to borrow – first come first served)
