yes that is the right spot, yes you can camp there, and there are also two campgrounds downstream from there about a half-mile or so (Teeters and Cheat Campground or something like that).

I'm planning to camp out the night before our first Cheat River paddle, so I'll meet everyone at the put in at 10 am Saturday morning. I just want to confirm that we're meeting here:
North Preston Kwik Stop, 2735 North Preston Highway, Albright, WV 26519
Please let me know if this is not the meetup spot!
Also, does anyone have recommendations on where to camp? Am I allowed to sleep in my car at the gas station? It seems like it has a big parking lot...Thanks,
