cheat_training_group The End is Near

Hey all,

I am sad to admit that this is the last official week of Cheat Training. We have had our attainment and our downriver, our rolls and our swims, and our ups and down through this journey. I have learned a lot about how to control my boat during these 8 weeks as I hope you all have as well.

I would like to encourage you all to sign up for the Cheat Race as I believe most of you are ready. If you feel as though you are not I encourage you to get together as a group and paddle the race at your own pace looking out for one another. Gaining the experience of racing is a really crucial skill if you would like to compete in more races.

If you would like to gain some experience racing in a race that is pretty straight forward and within all of your abilities then check out the Seneca Showdown happening this Sunday. We have some awesome prizes including PFDs, dry bags, hats, and more.

The river gods have blessed us with 70s and a rocky level for our last day. So we are going to take advantage of it. Lets all get an attainment up MD (Attempt it), Va, and Center before heading upstream. Get up wet bottom, If you try 3 times and dont succeed then carry your boat up and get to rocky. Once up at Rocky we will have a party surf! The sun set is not until 8 tonight so plan on being out there late!

Hope to see all of you paddling lunatics out there!

PADDLE EVERYWHERE!
