How was it on Wednesday? My trip to Belgium has been amazing, but I drank way too much excellent beer and ate mountains of chocolate, which means I am read to work it off and focus on the Cheat Race coming in exactly 14 days! I am committing to paddle every day until then!
I am not sure if anyone has shared the registration page for the race, but HERE it is. Take a look around the whole website, there are a lot of events to be taken advantage of. Plan to make a weekend out of it with some friends and family.
As for everyone that wants to know the lines, there is a document the pre-dates me. I am not sure who made it maybe someone with more experience could put the name out there, but Mark has sent me the Cheat Sheets. They are attached in this email. Mark has it lamented and taped to the front of his boat. I would not recommend using this as your GPS in the Cheat Race, but it is a good refresher.
I am excited to see you all tomorrow. Remember to meet at 7 am at park and ride in Gaithersburg and 7:30 at park and ride in Meyersville for those of you that live up that way.
One more thing! We put on a race every year called the Seneca Showdown It is located up at Rileys Lock on the Potomac. I encourage you all to race in it. It will be a good tester for the Cheat Race. Proceeds go to Team River Runner and Elks Club. Also, if you have the time please volunteer for Team River Runner. They do great work and it feels really good.
Now I must get back to my last beer in Belgium :)
