A decision on the river hasn't been made yet as far as I know. It is currently precipitating out near the Cheat and other rivers so we'll have to wait and see how quickly the water drops. You'll be notified by email as soon as one is made.

We typically meet at the put in to the river we are planning on paddling at 10:30 to drop boats and set shuttle. For the Cheat, this would be in front of Cheat River Outfitters next to the gas station at the Rt. 26 Bridge in Albright, WV. Depending on the water levels it could be elsewhere.
If it's your first time out on the Cheat (or this week's replacement), the water will be much colder than the Potomac. Please dress appropriately for the cold water and a potential swim. Both the Cheat and the Kitzmiller section of the Potomac are long rivers with lots of rapids. Make sure you have water and a snack if you need it for energy.
