Better Understanding the Needs of Disconnected Youth in Washington,DC

We invite you to join us for an advance briefing on the findings from the report Connecting Youth to Opportunity: Better Understanding the Needs of Disconnected Youth in Washington, DC prior to public release.

Thousands of young people in the District of Columbia are disconnected from school, work, and other positive opportunities. To more fully understand what these young people need to successfully re-connect to these institutions, the DC Alliance of Youth Advocates, in partnership with Raise DC, executed a survey of current and formerly disconnected young people ages 16-24 in the spring and summer of 2013.  The report is funded by The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region.
 
The briefing will feature respondent panels that will include:
