Dear Community - The 2013-2014 school year has begun! One of the DCPS' in 5B04 (Luke C. Moore Senior High) will host their Back to School Night on Wednesday, Sep. 18 (5PM-7PM). LCM's Back-to-School night is for its students and their families.

Graciously, Luke C. Moore's Principal Speight has invited any community organization whose efforts directly support and might directly provide benefit to the LCM students and their families, to please contact her to setup an information table.

Pls. see Principal Speight's email below.

Preliminarily, 5B04, in partnership Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church (and hopefully other Ward 5 community orgs.), (post 50th March on Washington) intends to setup an information table for its volunteer Youth/Young Adult Outreach. The goal of this outreach is to help provide volunteer mentoring, tutoring, life skills, personal enrichment/development and group discussions for our youth.

If your organization is interested in participating in Luke C. Moore's Sep. 18 Back-to-School Night, pls. contact Principal Speight directly.

Very kind regards,
