Subject: PCSB's Community Advisory Group

We're currently accepting applications for PCSB's Community Advisory Group (CAG). If you are interested in offering your insight, personal experiences and feedback on charter schools, PCSB's work and public education in DC, please complete an application.  The deadline to submit an application is September 24.  Candidates should display leadership, be passionate about public education and active in their community and want an opportunity to contribute 4-5 hours a month to be involved with the District's educational system.

All Community Advisory Group members:

1. Are District of Columbia residents

2. Are at least 15 years old, (with permission from parents if under 18) [high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply]

3. Not a member of the "working press", full-time blogger, a DC elected official, charter

    school board chair, an employee of a charter school or charter advocacy/support 

    organization

4. Demonstrate a commitment to volunteering 4-5 hours a month

5. Have a sense of advocacy for public education
