I remember the days when all we had to root for was the football team and from January through August, Washingtonians had to endure a sports "fast". Now, with the Nationals leading the charge, we have competitive teams in all four major sports (with fingers still optimistically crossed on the Burgundy and Gold). What do you think? Is this the golden age of Washington, DC sports?
