The FCC is on the verge of giving corporations unprecedented control over what we say and do online.
The big Internet service providers want to kill net neutrality, the principle that keeps the Internet diverse and open. If they succeed, the voices of everyday people could be drowned out or blocked entirely.
The FCC may let them do it, unless enough of us speak out and demand they regulate Internet service as a public utility (the only true way to protect net neutrality). The FCC is accepting comments until this Monday.
