I hope everyone is doing well and that you've had and enjoyable summer.  I wanted to send a note about a few events coming up, starting with the candidates' forum tonight.  Of great importance is US Senate Committee hearing on DC Statehood (Monday September 15^th).  Please take time to come for this hearing in the US Senate and fill the halls of the Senate for this opportunity to address DC Statehood.
