Subject: Mamie D Lee School Community Meeting

On behalf of the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education (DME) and the Department of General Services (DGS) this email is a follow-up to the attached letter with details regarding a  scheduled community meeting to advise residents that Mamie D. Lee School located at 100 Gallatin Street NE is no longer needed for the purpose of operating as a DCPS program.  As such, a Right of First Offer (RFO) to Charter Schools may be released.  

The community meeting to enlist residents feedback on the proposed re-use of Mamie D Lee School and to discuss the process in more details is scheduled for 6:30 pm on September 11, 2014 @ Lamond Riggs Library located at 5401 South Dakota Ave NE. 

Please share the attached flyer with your neighbors, community groups and family.
