[WardFive] Koch Brothers, Darden Restaurants and Home Depot

PLEASE LEARN TO RESPECT WHERE WE SPEND OUR MONEY!

WAKE UP!                WAKE UP!                                   WAKE UP!

I will continue to remind us to boycott the Koch Brothers so we will not forget and purchase their products.

I am also including the owners of Home Depot

WASHINGTON -- Bernie Marcus, the billionaire founder and former CEO of Home Depot, is not a fan of President Obama's policies. He's also no big admirer of business leaders who work with the president.

Arthur M. Blank is an American businessman and a co-founder of The Home Depot. Today he is known for his philanthropy and his ownership of the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League.

They are supporters of extreme right-wing Republicans, George Zimmerman, AND NOW THE POLICEMAN THAT KILLED Micheal Brown.

Koch Brothers: Obstacles to Broad Prosperity

Charles and David Koch, billionaire businessmen, are the founders of a group they call “Americans for Prosperity.” But what the group actually does is support extreme right-wing candidates who actively fight against the economic interests of workers and their families.

The Koch brothers have been behind:

A $45 million effort to buy control of Congress.

The destructive efforts of the American Legislative Exchange Council to co-opt state and local governments.

ALEC’s efforts to suppress voter turnout.

Their assault on public workers.

The dominance of extremist candidates in the 2012 presidential race.

Thanks to a “performance pay” tax loophole, large corporations in the United States today are routinely deducting enormous executive payouts from their income taxes.

"Koch Brothers Exposed" chronicles the damage being done by two billionaires who are using their vast wealth to rewrite the rules of government to suit their ends.

Help millions of homeowners, end the foreclosure crisis and inject billions of 'stimulus' dollars into the economy.

Black workers in the restaurant industry are routinely kept from the highest-paying jobs in the highest-paying restaurants. They're told their appearance isn't the right fit. They're relegated to fast food while their White peers climb the ranks to earn upwards of $50,000 a year.

One of the industry's serial offenders is Darden Restaurants, the company that owns and operates Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, Eddie V’s, Seasons 52 and the high-end Capital Grille.

Clarence Otis is stepping down as CEO of Darden Restaurants by the end of the year. Otis, who was named one of Black Enterprise’s “Most Powerful Corporate Directors,” joined Darden Restaurants in 1995 as treasurer and moved up the ranks.

On July 28, 2014 Golden Gate completed the purchase of Red Lobster from Darden Restaurants for $2.1 billion.
