[WardFive] Join us for our March meeting

It is time to talk budget and we are dedicating our March meeting to just that! 

We invite you to join us for our March monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 17th from 6:30-8:30p at the Lamond-Riggs Library (5401 South Dakota Ave NE).  This month our special guest will be Soumya Bhat from the DC Fiscal Policy Institute. Soumya will talk with us about the specifics of the public education budget (both in regards to DCPS and public charters). In addition to the budget specifics, Soumya will engage us around how to be good advocates for the the budget items that are important to us.

We hope that you will join us for this extremely important conversation!  Also, if you have any specific questions that you would like to submit in advance to Soumya, for her to address at the meeting, we ask that you email those questions directly to us at ward5coe@gmail.com.
