[WardFive] ECKINGTON FALL FESTIVAL : Saturday, September 15th, 2012

Dear Neighbors, 

The Eckington Civic Association in partnership with the Department of Recreation is proud to announce the First Annual Eckington Fall Festival. This festival will feature:

• music by Words,Beats and Life Inc., Bomani D'Armah, and a liive music performance by The Uncle Devin Show. 
• Food from local restaurants including Shaws Tavern and Revive 
• Arts and Crafts
• Face painting 
• Community  Highlights ( Harry Thomas Recreation Center, DC MPD, EMS, D.A.S.H., Washington Area Bike Association, Langley PTA, Mckinley PTA, LGBT awareness, Health and Nutrition)
• Voter Registration 
• School Supply Giveaways  
• Raffles to Pizzeria Baccio, Rustik, Boundry Stone and Curbside Cupcakes!

When : Saturday, September 15th, 2012

Time: 10am to 3pm 

Where: Harry Thomas Recreation Center (1743 Lincoln Road NE)

Please invite your family and friends to join us, don't forget to bring your blankets and feel free to bring food to put on the grill! We hope to make this a fun community event and create safe places where we can all get together and enjoy our community!
