[WardFive] RE: [ward5] A Constructive Proposal

Brooks is closed and there is no stats and no argument needed. This race issue is simple to identify - The second the denial stops, logic and compassion is all you need - at the speed of our life's experience, we see it. It aint that hard - just serious to the point of a much needed conversation in order to grow as a community.

Lets meet at Colonel Brooks just across from Brookland Metro station... have a serious and intelligent conversation.
Please bring facts, intel, and statistical support of your argument. Leave your innuendos, assumptions, and ignorance at home.

Time and date please.... lets be there.

Thanks.

I can do that

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life, as by the obstacles which one has overcome while trying to succeed.

I would like to make a small proposal to all who would like to see a coming together of our friends and neighbors (black, white, and those in the middle) here in this Ward.   We can sit here in the  relative comfort of our homes and snipe away at each other, or we can be courageous and pro active and move to resolve some of the festering issues and resentments that hobble us socially, politically, and economically here in Ward 5 NE.

Is anyone interested in trying a casual meeting just to talk and develop some ground rules of engagement?
