At least Anne Wilcox, Green/Statehood party should be invited and I'm sure her name would be recognized. She may not have the money behind her, but for years, has been a warrior for Statehood, knows DC, has given countless hours protecting the rights of our residents, served on our School Board, testified at Council and other agency meetings and hearing, participated in protests, etc not just suddenly showing up to run.
As to the forum, it is not until Oct 20, 2012, a month away. Still enough time to include a person of color to not only ask questions but be included in the selection of submitted questions.
Alice, understand you were sharing the information.

Actually, they didn't. AJ Cooper, Leon Swain, and Ann Wilcox are not on this list.

Check that out, unlike the Ward 5 debate they invited all of the candidates. Even those who didn't run previously or didn't have a website. Hopefully someone will cover the event for the list serve and let us know how it is.
