Will Pamela Nelson be able to address concerns regarding the Water Department's arbitrary "estimating" billing for 6 months from July-December 2012 without prior notice that WASA's meter reading was faulty and then inoperable. As if that were not bad enough, WASA sent huge bills in February and allowed the arrears to be paid within 30 days. I personally wrote a letter to General Manager George Hawkins and have not received any response. Is this how WASA as the last unregulated utility will be allowed to treat customers and have no accountability?
