Reminder of this important Public Service Commission (PSC), Public Hearing today, to receive testimony which will lead to stronger consumer protections when confronted by an at home alternative energy provider Solicitor, solicitation by phone or Internet. From 2000, when the door opened deregulation for these providers, there have been numerous complaints, from unethical, misinformation given to the potential Customer to sign them up; contract issues; poor quality of service; to billing issues.
Starting at 10:00am, the Hearing can be watched from the PSC's website: http://www.dcpsc.org/. You can click on the link from the "Flash News" link at the top of the page, or scroll to the bottom and click on the link, "Media Streaming".
Your comments are valuable to the process any where you decide to send.
