1. Deputy Mayor for Education, Abigail Smith, will join us to discuss the Student Assignment and School Boundaries Review Process that is now underway. Having your participation in this conversation is VITAL! Many of the conversations around the process of student assignment and school boundaries will have major implications in Ward 5. Please join us to learn more about the process and come ready to give your feedback.
2. Presentation from DC Fiscal Policy Institute to discuss the upcoming FY15 budget - learn about the budget and how to be a knowledgeable and active participant in the process (FY15 DC School Finance Primer).
