More good news:

There is still time for your constituents to get assistance and get covered through DC HealthLink before the Final Deadline of March 31.

DC Health Link has dozens of events over the final 7 weeks for your residents and small employers/employees to learn their options and enroll starting with:

 

This Saturday, February 8th,  from 11am-3pm, there are 2 enrollment events in and around your communities at:

1.      Ward 5:  Lamond Riggs Library, 5401 South Dakota Avenue, NE

2.      Ward 6:  Northeast Library, 330 7th Street, NE (Re-Opening Celebration)

 

 

NOTES:

• Trained assisters and brokers will be present to help explain options and enroll residents.
• Financial assistance is available.
• The final deadline to enroll is March 31.
• Penalties for non-enrollment are whichever is greater between: 1% of family income  OR  $95 for singles & up to $285 for families.  The penalties increase significantly over the next 2 years.  There are some who will not be subject to the penalty.
