Subject: St. Stephen's to Participate in Friday's Vigil for Justice
In preparation for Saturday's National March Against Police Violence, this coming Friday evening people will line 16th Street from the Maryland line to the White House, holding candles and signs. St. Stephen's will be a host site for this event; we will attempt to fill the blocks of 16th Street near the church. We invite you to participate.
We will gather in the church at 5:30pm and stand outside from 6-8pm. Please sparead the word and invite your friends and associates to join us.
If you are willing to help coordinate or provide supplies (candles, food, drink, signs, sign-making supplies) please be in touch with the Rev. Sarabeth Goodwin (sarabeth.goodwin@saintstephensdc.org).
