[WardFive] National Symphony Orchestra performing all over our area for free in January!

Neighbors,

Each year the National Symphony Orchestra does a "NSO in your Neighborhood" residency in an area in the DC region, and this year over January 6-12, 2015 it's in Northeast/Ward 5!

Mostly small groups of musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra will perform and hold workshops in the next couple weeks. It's all free and most events don't require any kind of ticket, just show up! RSVP is required for 4 of the events but the rest are open to the public and you can just show up and enjoy it. (They are actually doing about twice this many events in our neighborhood, but many of them are performances in schools, senior centers or social service orgs and not so much for the general public)

A brochure is attached and can be seen/shared/downloaded here. Check the NSO in your Neighborhood Kennedy Center website for a full schedule, which is also copied below.
