[WardFive] Mrs Bailey Funeral and the passing of Mr. Booker T. Brooks and Soror Diane Davis

Good afternoon,

 

Mrs Gladys Bailey will lie in state Monday, December 8 at Shiloh Baptist Church- 1500 Ninth St., NW, 9:30 am to the service at 11am.

 

 

With a sad heart again this week I share with you the passing of two others in our community. For those that were around when we were deals with the Dog Park you would remember Mr Booker T. Brooks for every meeting bring information about why we did not want or need a Dog Park across the street from the Hospital for Sick Children.

He led the charge BOW-WOW NO DOG PARK!

 

Soror Diane Davis passed in her sleep last night.

He died peacefully in his home with his family in the evening.  

 

Viewing and Funeral will take place on Friday, December 12 at 2pm. 

 

Service is at 3 with a repast to follow.
