[WardFive] Fw: GNYAGG encourages citizens/stakeholders to participate in Mayor-elect Bowser's Transition Committee

GNYAGG encourages citizens/stakeholders to participate in Mayor-elect Bowser's Transition Committee Public Engagement Forums.  It may be a good time to put in a plug for D.C. to push for a Metro Station along New York Avenue (US 50) near Ft. Lincoln or Bladensburg Road.  Perhaps it could like somehow to the end of the Yellow, Silver, or Green lines.  Speak out at the Transportation or Economic Development and Jobs forum.

Also, a movie/sound/TV production studio (Council bill 20-564) seems to be a good idea for the Greater NY Avenue Gateway Corridor.  It would bring jobs and would be a big attraction and boost for the industry in the District.  Mention it at the Economic Development and Jobs forum or at the Creative Economy form.

Additionally, it is time to get a landmark gateway structure at the NY Avenue Gateway.  Let's make that happen.  Make a great first and lasting impression of the city.
