Hey Friends,
Please think about registering for the Annual Downriver Race. Just twenty bucks gets you the t-shirt and a hearty picnic on Sycamore Island at the finish line. The date is May 11th, with a rain or highwater date of the following week.
This historic race has been run every year since 1956, making it the third longest continuous running race in the USA. So come be a part of history!
It is co-sponsored by the Canoe Cruisers Association, the Potomac Whitewater Racing Center, and the Sycamore Island Club.
Please join us as a racer or as a volunteer. You don't need to be a CCA member to race, but you should be so please consider paying your dues to your local river club, and help support trash pickups, advocating for river access, and more.
