[WardFive] Leaf Vacs Take To District Streets Mon., Nov. 4.

Leaf Vacs Take To District Streets Mon., Nov. 4.

The District’s leaf collection season starts Monday, November 4 and residents can go to Leaf Collection Schedule to find the collection dates for their neighborhoods.  The schedules also are being mailed to residences that receive DPW trash and recycling collection services.

“It looks like this weekend will be perfect for raking leaves,” said DPW Director William O. Howland, Jr.  “We ask people to check the schedule for when their leaves will be collected and then rake their leaves into the treeboxes the weekend before their collection cycles start to make sure their leaves are collected.”
