If you missed last Saturday’s 2nd Open Enrollment Period, don’t fret. You have another opportunity! Join us for the “Faith in Action” enrollment event on this Sunday, November 23, 2014, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 4606 16th Street, NW. The faith-based campaign is designed to engage the faith community in helping us to reach and enroll District residents and small businesses in affordable health insurance coverage. Attendees will enjoy a special celebration service featuring the sounds of Howard University Gospel Choir, renowned saxophonist Brian Lenair and other artists. White House guests will participate on the program along with local faith leaders. Prior to the service, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, refreshments will be served and FREE health screenings will take place. Certified In-Person Assisters and licensed health insurance brokers will be available to enroll consumers in affordable health insurance plans, answer questions, and provide information about financial help.
