It's that time of year again... and the Foster & Adoptive Parent Advocacy Center (FAPAC) needs your help!
FAPAC's Annual Loving Circles Holiday Brunch for children in foster care will take place on Saturday, December 13th, 2014 and we need your help bringing in gift donations for the kids. Please consider partnering with us on this unique holiday gift drive and/or supporting the holiday brunch in some other capacity.
FAPAC's holiday celebration is not just a party; it's a party with a purpose. Our holiday brunch provides foster and birth families the opportunity to break bread together so that children in foster care can experience the joy of celebrating the holidays with both their families -- their foster/kinship family and their biological family. In doing so, this special holiday event helps to bridge the gap between families and to encourage positive working relationships between the children's caregivers.
We need approximately 450 gifts to ensure that we have enough for all of the children/teens will be participating in this year's event. Please consider helping out with our gift drive and/or supporting this unique holiday party in some capacity. By working together, we can make sure that every child who attends the event on December 13th receives a gift from Santa at the party and that all of the biological parents get extra gifts to take home so that they have something to give their children during their holiday visits. That's a beautiful thing!
