Don't forget, the race is coming up this Friday afternoon at 5 PM, and if you are confident that you can paddle the length of the Cheat, then we urge you to enter! You can register online by April 28 before 5 PM, or you can register at the put-in on the day of the race for an extra $5.
We would also like you to compete in the team race. All that's needed is for you to fill out on the registration form the name of your team. Make sure that everyone on the team knows the same name used and writes it on the form. The fastest three times will be added to produce the team's results. If you can include in your moniker the letters, LAKS, (as in MacsLAKS, or LAKS Speed, etc.), then your team will be registered as our school The race organizers will rank your team in the overall results.
We will have a shuttle for you at the end of the race to go back to the put-in.
Cheat Youth: We have to know by Wednesday, if you will need a ride to the race (leaving here at 11:39) and what gear you will need for us to bring.
