cheat_training_group Drawing conclusions

How do those paddling Jedi Masters always seem to get to exactly the right spot with the exactly right boat angle? (High Falls, for example?)

Well, part of their secret might be the sliding draw. This draw will allow you to move your boat to the right or left without change to the angle of your boat, as might happen if you use a sweep or pry stroke. Best of all, you can easily convert the draw into a forward stroke when it's time to put on the power. Come join me to play explore this idea --- and learn some drills to improve your draw and combination strokes. (We can talk about bow and stern draws, too.)

I'll be on the water as close to 5:00 as traffic will allow. Levels will be high tomorrow, but I think we can set up along the shore just above the Anglers put-in. Otherwise, look for me a little ways up the back channel. As long as I get a little company, I'll hang out there until at least 6 to accommodate later arrivals.

See ya out there...
JOHN
