Gaining insight from so many committed leaders, it is clear that working together with stakeholders and other interested parties that it is truly possible to create pathways to greater opportunity to make hopes, dreams, aspirations, and wishes come true.  Collaborating on a vision, it is possible to get some of the options to make the type of Corridor and City wanted, but it won't happen overnight and there may be competing interests and barriers to address.  In the future there may be more Eagle roundtable discussions/fireside chats where audience participants can sit next to Subject Matter Experts/DC Leaders and exchange ideas and information with them in a comfortable, intimate setting.

For your information, visionary PowerPoint presentations were made by ANC Commissioner Robert Looper (http://gatewaytothecitydc.com/tag/robert-looper-iii/) and Ronald Dixon, Creative Director, Studio202 (https://vimeo.com/51705773, IdeaPlex, a proposed Campus for D.C. Creatives).  Check them out and send your ideas.  GNYAGG will post more as it prepares snippets from video recordings and pictures.  In the meantime, begin to identify and protect your community's cultural assets and work toward making the Corridor greener.  Share your ideas on making a great city greater to live, shop, dine, do business, work, raise families, visit, and enjoy via the Greater New York Avenue Gateway Corridor.  Think of the art and housing you'd like to see in D.C.   Our City, Our Future, A Shared Vision

See attachments for more information and to help shape a Collaborative vision.

Thank you for your interest.  We are going to work on videotaping roundtable discussions/fireside chats and then sharing them.
