Good Evening,

You see everyone, this is a major part Mr. Barry's fault and the fault of many CM's before.  Years ago, when he had a chance and support to really create some Rules and Regulations, they all wanted the loopholes to be ever so present so that all that Contract Awarding to friends, etc., dipping into funds, etc.  Now, it is amazing that our current CM's can't be compassionate and empathetic to the fact as to the importance of prioritizing our Capital Dollars.  And that's the shame.

Now, we will see if Kenyan will join the ranks and be the new Auctioneer that will ship our kids off!!!

Makes me wonder what Donkey finally kicked CM Barry in the head and woke him up on this matter!  He should have been leading the Picket line against this Crap for the longest time.  I hope that before he dies, he dreams about the days when he was fighting for freedom and in that dream, God offers him salvation in exchange for delivering his people into the promise land we deserve!

On the other hand, I would like to see Cheh and Wells and some of the others go live up in the hood with nothing for 6months and subject a few young privileged kids with them and then come out with this same attitude that they have. Let's do that experiment and see how they like it. I guarantee that none of their friends would allow them to take their kids through that life.

I was/am a supporter of Kenyan and I hope that he has the courage to be the one to challenge the Status Quo - regardless of our belief that if we have nothing else to do with Capital money, then we can put in the best of the best Street Car systems - hell even put one on every secondary street so that we don't ever have to drive.  Until we fix it so that all our children have equal opportunity, then we continue to drive, motorbike, bike, catch the train, catch the bus, walk, hitch-hike, work from home or collect unemployment.

We will see if Kenyan sells our kids freedom and their lives (including my/his kid(s) freedom as it doesn't matter how many "consulting fees and or "angelic "Eric Jones Explanation of Catania's" VP positions or partnership in Law Firms paychecks/income Kenyan chooses to discloses, the bullets don't have names and he has two daughters who, unless I am wrong are just as vulnerable as my daughter and the children of many others) or he fights for the lives and futures of our children!!  That bullet can fired from a desperate person in the shopping plaza, McDonalds, BCafe, driving down the street and unless this madness downtown is stopped, we are all at risk.  No one expected the Family at Murrays to be murdered that day!!

The decision is that simple!!!  Every dollar more we pump into this Street Car will rise the ratio of failure of our youth!!

With Love,

Rob Ramson

I would suggest you call his office or write an email or stop by. The more the Merrier it will get the point across vs waiting for his office to respond to a list serv.

I also would let you know the office should be on twitter as well.

Consulting with whom?  The Ward CM needs to talk to us first, had he?  We can't even get a response from him on this listserv.  Scorecard time

Why are Cheh/Wells not consulting with Ward 5 now that we have a councilmember? The article says they are trying to go around Barry. Wells lost the Stadium area and Reservation 13, or whatever it's called, during redistricting. When he was the Ward 5/6 school board member, he represented Spingarn. Has he stopped caring about the area? Why dump a streetcar barn in that area? Some people might think it's a racial or social class issue. Is Cheh teaming up with Wells because Kwame Brown gave her Wells Transportation Committee? Any deals being made. Call for more transparency.
