Arrest Made and Weapon Recovered at School

in the 2700 block of 10th Street NE

(Washington, DC) – Members from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announced today that a juvenile male was arrested this morning, after it was discovered that he was in possession of a BB gun in a bathroom at Noyes Education Campus in the 2700 block of 10th Street NE.

Units from the Fifth District responded to the school at approximately 10:55 am. The school was in a lock down, until it was deemed safe by members of the Metropolitan Police Department at approximately 11:10 am.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. The juvenile male student was arrested and charged with Possession of a BB Gun.
