Subject: Turkey Thicket/Brookland Meeting
Dear Brookland and Turkey Thicket Communities,
The Department of General Serivces (DGS), Department of Parks & Receration (DPR) and DC Public Schools (DCPS) will be hosting another community meeting this Saturday March 23rd at 11:00 am in the large conference room at Turkey Thicket to review the proposed plans for Turkey Thicket playground and Brookland School and to discuss next steps.
We have heard the community's feedback. DGS and our sister agencies (DPR & DCPS) representatives will be available with responses to your frequently asked questions (FAQ) related to both projects, to discuss the budget and will provide copies of the plans for all attendees.
The mission of DGS is to elevate the quality of life in the District through quality construction and maintenance, and our agency is committed to working with the community to create a vibrant, fitting and efficient environment for the entire community.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday. Seating is limited, so please come early. We will start on time and the meeting should last no longer than two hours.
