The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council cordially invites you to join us for our annual spring public meeting onWednesday, April 29, 2015, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Bishop Alfred A Owens Jr. Family Life Community Center (605 Rhode Island Ave NE).

 

Promoting Healthy Minds to Support Safe Communities: A Community Conversation about Behavioral Health will provide an opportunity for the community to dialogue with public officials about the intersection of mental health and the criminal justice system. Panelists will inform community members about mental and behavioral issues, remove stigmas and negative stereotypes, identify available resources, and provide information about criminal justice system approaches to citizens affected by mental health and behavioral health disorders.
