Patrick talked with the police about two weeks ago I think. It might be helpful to find out how that interaction went. Maybe we could contact the Potomac Riverkeeper to get some ideas about who else to contact.

Subject: cheat_training_group Potomac River
Yesterday evening I was paddling in the area around the bottom of little falls and was extremely unhappy to see all the trash on the banks of the river. In addition to having litter on the ground and rocks there was a lot of debris floating in the water including plastic bottles, Styrofoam bait containers, beer cans etc. Todd pointed out that netting fish is illegal and several groups were using this technique. Is there anything we can do to help prevent this mess? Does anyone have a contact at the park service that we can call or write to? --
