Well Tiff,
Figured that you would respond in this manner.
Yes - Manomale does have a voluntary agreement which reflects the hours of its actual protest - not selling liquor between the hours of 2 and 5pm. I should have written NO "REAL" Voluntary Agreement in comparison to the trumped up protests that was received by the Cafe and the type of "Voluntary" Agreement that doesn't even allow the Cafe to take Trash out of its back door because of course - Mr. Ramson is operating a after hours spot and whore house upstairs in his Brookland inn. Of course the goal is to get women drunk and slip them through the back door like the front door has a Drunk Woman Breathalizer and Police officer standing there. By the way, at least the hours protested was directly reflected in the Voluntary Agreement and Vaughn didn't use endangerment of Kids and ask for hours to be limited only after 10pm.
Like I said, NO VOLUNTARY AGREEMENT or PROTEST from those Cafe Protesters (vocal and silent) Whites who were of course securing the "godliness" of Brookland!!
As for you, everytime you open your mouth, you prove how one sided you are showing your prejudice and hate.
It is strange that you wouldn't elaborate on why a new business by two (who just moved to the City) under 25 White males (sorry 1 Italian) with no experience in life wouldn't be protested the same hateful manner by the Whites who protested the Cafe for 3 years. Manomale has ZERO parking. Where were them. What happened to the person who protested the Cafe who lives ONE BLOCK away from MENOMALE. Ironic, when Leland (one of Manomale's owners) and I spoke, even he said surprisingly - "wow and we don't have any parking". What are you - Blinded by ?????? Got to be hate!!
It is also strange that you wouldn't point out the USUARY OF KIDS as protesting reason when I Consistantly shared that Don, Abigail and Co. used proximity to rec. center and school and daycare but only requested the hours of serving Alcohol to be reduced at night when kids are home sleep in bed and schoos, rec. centers and Daycre are closed from. You see, just like Menomale has no "Voluntary Agreement" is a misnomer, Don, Abigail and Co. entire 3 year protest with those supporting neighbors exposed your true hate. When people can use kids like this, it tells you about who they really are.
Tell me why when I said that I have in my possession a statement that was passed out in the community that reflected both a Religious and Racist remark that you said nothing!!
So, If you remember my post on the "Spectum of Racism" - your behavior and responses identify where you are on that spectrum to many of us. So, if the proverbial shoe fits anyone in this community, that's your life in a nutshell - racist at the core- simply based just on reactions.

Sent from my iPhoneGood Morning,So nice to be able to get a Liquor Lic. and outside seating with no "rails" to protect the sidewalk, with zero parking, no "Voluntary" Agreement and still have such great "community support" from certain folks. Almost like the America Vision of Romney/Ryan.Wonder what that type of previlege acceptance would be like! Glad this place came along at a time so that we can all see how Racist some Folks really are in our community.Anyways, Our True "community" feeling aside, The owners are Great guys, nice place, good pizza and great environment. Nice to have them here. Maybe The Cafe will get the same "love" in about 400 years.By the way, John Feeley's Cousin's Father/Mother in law (his next door neighbor) did stay at the the Inn to share in the Delivery of their daughter's Baby. So - anything is possible - maybe it won't be 400 years after all!!!!Rob Ramson. On Mon, Aug 20, 2012 at 3:20 PM, Tiffany Bridge <tiffany@welovedc.com> wrote:

Where is it located?
In 12th Street, just south of Franklin. They've got outdoor seating out front as well, so do check it out. The food is excellent.-Tiffany on Monroe__._,_.___.
