Hey boaters...

2nd Annual New Year Day paddle for TRR...

This is an 'informal' New Years Day downstream paddle from Great Falls
to Sycamore Island that many are familiar with from Cheat Training...
Last year, we traveled in a group and everyone also had a buddy to
stick with just in case - water is nice and chilly.  We will be
collecting any gear you want to donate for Team River Runner - they
are always in need for tops, helmets, older skirts and older boats
that you want to donate (all tax deductible).  This year, Joe Mornini
from TRR will be driving the TRR bus for shuttle which will take
paddlers from the Sycamore Island parking lot to Great Falls Maryland
parking lot.  Please feel free to forward this to anyone who wants to
paddle - all are welcome and we will travel in a group but we don't
want any Jan 1st swimmers so good 'cold water' roll needed.

So come on out and get rid of that hang over on the river - and send
me a quick email for a seat on the big blue bus!  I can also hook
anyone up with buddy if needed...

Date: Jan 1st
Time: Sycamore Island parking lot, bus leaves at 1ish
River time: 2 hours or so
Continue you're buzz with drinks at the Irish Inn after the paddle...
