[WardFive] Re: [ward5] Charter Schools not Performing Better

Hello Everyone,

Not knowing how true this statement is as I have heard different ("When a student enrolls in a charter school, the $18,667 per pupil allocation follows him or her");

Does anyone know the actual amount of money that Students get when attending Charter vs. Public.  Also when kids get removed from Charter and placed back into Public Schools,

1.  When does this occur?
2.. What are the reasons?
3.  How much money does the Charter get to keep? (is it prorated appropriately to reflect the time spent at the Charter School?)
4.  How long before the balance is returned?
5.  Does that money follow the Child to the school he/she gets placed into?
6.  How long before it gets to the school?
7.  If not, where does it go?
8.  What accountability do we have of this over the years?
9.  Has all the money been remitted by the Charter Schools?
10.  Is there anything else that could be shared to help analyze our kids money and it's accountability.

Before I get blamed for "having others do my research", I am just trying to utilize the knowledge of the Collective Community.
